Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman Students Council SMK Kesehatan Bantul 2024/2025: Congratulations to "Denista Aningtyas and Chintya Ardelia"

On September 4 2024, SMK Kesehatan Bantul held the election of the Chair and Vice Chair of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) for the 2024-2025 term of service. This activity was not only an opportunity to elect student leaders who will lead the OSIS, but also a form of implementation of educational democracy in Merdeka Curriculum.

Through this election process, students learned about democratic principles, such as voting rights, freedom of choice, and responsibilities as voters and potential leaders. This process also taught students about the importance of active participation in organizational life and decision making.

There were 3 pairs of candidates for chairman and vice chairman of the student council elected, they were Martha Sulistya Rini and Febi Sekti Lestari,

Kurnia Maulid and Muhammad Ridwan Aqil Naufal and the last one was

Denista Aningtyas and Chintya Ardelia Amanda.

The election process began with a written test and interview selection. There were 3 couples of candidates selected from the recruitment. Then, each candidate was given the opportunity to convey their vision, mission and work program in a forum that was opened to all students.

When the vote counting was done, candidate pair number 3 was elected who would become the chairman and vice chairman SMK Kesehatan Bantul 2024/2025. They were Denista Aningtyas and Chintya Ardelia Amanda.

This was hoped that the selected leaders would carry their duties well and would also be able to inspire and motivate students to participate more actively in various school activities.
