SMK Kesehatan Bantul Won Some Prestigious National Competitions, Congrats!

Lomba Kompetensi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (LKS SMK) is an annual event held for all the vocational high school students in the field of research and innovation. LKS event is held step by step from regional to national, to recruit the best participants from 38 provinces. The steps are to provide equal opportunities for students throughout Indonesia to become potential talents. SMK Kesehatan Bantul participated in this year's LKS competitions held by PERSEMKI. SMK Kesehatan Bantul won the nomination in the province and got the chances to go to the national level.

On Thursday, 19 December, 2024, along with PERSEMKI Anniversary Night , it was held the announcement of the winners at LKS competitions. The event was held at the Sengkaling UMM Recreation Park, Jl. Raya Sengkaling No. 188 Jetis Mulyoagung, Malang. All the SMK Kesehatan Bantul students who participated

were accompanied by the teachers to attend the event.

Participants from SMK Kesehatan Bantul successfully brought various championships, they were:

1. 1st place in the Tik Tok Competition

2. 1st place in the School Profile Video Competition

3. 2nd place in the Pharmacy LKS

4. 2nd Runner-up in the Choir Competition.

Dr. Slamet Raharja, M.Pd., the Head of SMK Kesehatan Bantul also presented to accompany the students. He Conveyed that the students struggled to achieve the champions. They were very persistent and full of responsibility in this LKS preparation training.

The principal also hoped that this competition could increase students' competence, positive character, productivity, creativity, competitiveness, and innovation.
