Flag Ceremony to Commemorate Indonesia's 80th Independence Day at SMK Kesehatan Bantul

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day, SMK Kesehatan Bantul held a flag ceremony on Sunday, 17 August 2025, at the school's northern open field. The ceremony began at 07:00 and was attended by all students, teachers and employees.

The ceremony was attended by students from grades X and XI who had prepared well. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presence of "Peloton Inti" consisting of grade X students who had been trained for a full month. They displayed compact and disciplined movements during the flag-raising ceremony.

The school principal, Drs. Slamet Raharja, M.Pd., as the ceremony's leader, delivered a message emphasizing the importance of the spirit of independence and the noble values contained in the Indonesian nation's struggle. He also encouraged all students to continue improving their achievements and making positive contributions to society.

The flag ceremony was not only a means to commemorate Independence Day but also a way to foster a sense of nationalism and togetherness among students and teachers at SMK Kesehatan Bantul.
